Rarus Pinot Noir

Turner Vineyard

Sta. Rita Hills

Rarus was established by vineyard owners Henry and Marjorie Schimberg from the very best selection of fruit grown on their estate. This Pinot Noir was aged 12 months in French oak barrels, 20% new oak. This Rarus Pinot Noir has aromas of black cherry, fig, plum and earth on the nose. Black currant and chai spices on the palate with a lusciously round, long finish. Rich, yet elegant with great balance and structure. Pairs well with a broad spectrum of foods from filet mignon to white bean cassoulet.
