All Dads Love Wine
While it seems as though we just celebrated New Years, it’s June already and Father’s Day is just around the corner! We’ve all seen the endless commercials telling us that our dads love tools and cargo shorts, but we all KNOW they really want some great, Central Californian Coast wine. No matter what your dad is in to, we’ve got him covered at Carr Winery!
Golfing is one of those sports that requires the upmost amount of patience and finesse, agility and strength, as well as passion and persistence. We’ve paired these dads with our 2014 Hillside Whole Cluster Pinot Noir, a hand rolled, whole cluster Pinot Noir out of the Sta. Rita Hills. Delicacy and patience was key to making this silky, yet rich wine. With the ability to pay attention to detail, these dads won’t be disappointed.
Now I know what you’re thinking – this may be a situation where tools are your best bet for a great gift. However, you know what Dad wants after spending the weekend fixing everything? Not more tools to fix more things. He’s looking forward to sipping some spicy and robust 2014 Syrah, Santa Barbara County. This wine is strong enough to match his tough exterior yet soothing enough to help him forget about accidentally hammering his thumb to the wall.
If your dad is one of those men that has coins from the nineteenth century, and postal stamps with every English royal’s face, do we have the wine for him. Our 2015 Commemorative Cabernet Franc is every collector’s dream! Carr Winery’s been making Cabernet Franc for 15 years and this hand bottled, hand waxed, hand rolled wine is truly one of a kind. Only 2 barrels were made! This wine is available for purchase through June 30th and will be released in October. Get Dad one before they sell out!
Can’t seem to ever spend time with your dad unless you’re outside? Does every casual family outing turn into a 15 mile hike and fly fishing some white water rapids? The 2013 Carr Chardonnay is his perfect pairing. With different flavors emerging in every sip, this wine is the definition of fun, bold, and unpredictable. After fermenting and aging 20 months in French Oak, this Chardonnay is perfect in the sunshine and anything but ordinary, just like him.
