Thanksgiving is such a great holiday for so many reasons – family and friends come together to share thanks while indulging in tasty food paired with delicious wines. Everyone has a signature turkey, mashed potato, and stuffing recipe – these are the traditional foods that we love about the holiday. But we love to mix up the side dishes! We want you to be prepared, so we are sharing a few of our choice side dishes, paired with our favorite Carr wines.
Kokonda is a traditional dish served all around the South Pacific with slight variations depending on where you go. It is a ceviche dish served with coconut cream that has lovely citrus flavors followed by a sweetness from the coconut. It is perfect for our newly released 2014 Carr Pinot Gris!
